The popular Children’s Book Exchange which was previously located on Hebberd Place in Richmond has a new home outside Hope School. The idea is that kids can take a book or leave one and share the love of reading. Principal for the school, Freya Hogarth, says, “The kids showed a massive interest in it straight away, so we’re really pleased to have it right outside.” The exchange was the brainchild of Tim and Jasmine Creed and they relocated the glass-fronted, repurposed fridge after moving house and enrolling their own children in the school. “We wanted to put it somewhere that would see it getting lots of use, so where better than outside the local school?” says Tim.
