Good morning. With the ever so slight lifting of the levels the Waimea Weekly is now able to be published, and more importantly be delivered in total.
After we went into Level 4 that forbade us to use any delivery service to deliver our paper. We were able to print but not deliver.
After some robust discussions with the powers that be these restrictions have been lifted along with the level status as from next Tuesday in time for next week’s paper as normal. Like most of you it was beyond our control and made no sense however we acknowledge this was extra ordinary circumstances.
We would also like to acknowledge the help of local MP Nick Smith who was robust in his efforts to get what he felt was one of the most important links in our community, up and running in a timely fashion.
It is now up to us all to inform those that need to know exactly what you are able to offer by way of sales or service albeit a little or a lot. We can help you let your customers take out the guess work.
It will be very important that all of you as business people “hit the ground running” We know that some will get slow traction, and some will need all out traction. My team and I promise to do whatever it takes to help you achieve that. From concept to ad design to campaign advice.
This is all part of the service and is no extra cost at all. Obviously, we will have considerable pressure on our systems, and we will cope in an accurate and calm manner to help you. Deadlines remain the same as ever as is the publishing days.
Booking deadline Monday 12 noon prior.
Copy deadline Monday 5 pm prior.
Publishing and delivery Wednesday 8 am.
So, to that end one of my advertising team will be in touch or if you could help us to hit the ground running please contact us on.
