Organisers of the fourth annual V8 Escape classic car run are over the moon with the turnout on Sunday, November 25.
The run raises money for Nelson Tasman Hospice and Ross Hurley and Ian Barker say it was a huge success.
“We are overwhelmed at the response and have had a lot of positive feedback. This year we attracted over 50 cars and managed to raise $2160. We would like to thank all the sponsors and participants who got involved with the event.” The cars left the WOW museum in Stoke and travelled out into the country, selling raffles at each stop along the way, with prizes and trophies at Richmond’s Eddyline Brewery and Pizzeria.
“Lots of ladies dressed in their retro gear to win spot prizes. Top prize of Organisers Choice went to Kevin Satherley with his stunning Pontiac Bonneville.”
